Interesting study in Germany found that increased intake of fruits and vegetables have a direct impact on health and keeping your wits. This study clearly shows the link beyond any connection to other factors. To quote the study,
Modification of nutritional habits aimed at increasing intake of fruits and vegetables, therefore, should be encouraged to lower the prevalence of cognitive impairment.
In layman’s terms that means, eat more fruit and veggies, or you will loose your mind. The interaction between these healthy foods and “cognitive performance” is related to anti-0xidant presence and reduction of free radicals that results. I wonder if the use of the concentrated fruit drinks that focus on anti-0xidants will also help with this?
